Mark your calendars for the PNA Holi Celebration – a kaleidoscope of spring, colors, and community spirit

by | Feb 29, 2024

Join the PNA for a vibrant celebration of Holi, the Hindu spring festival that marks the triumph of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and the spirit of love and forgiveness. Holi is a time when friends, families, and communities come together to celebrate the victory of the dissolution of bad spirits, burning of bad karma and bad feelings, removing negative thoughts and cleansing our consciousness.

On Saturday, March 30th starting at 1pm, attendees can participate in the lively tradition of chasing, laughing, and throwing colors at one another in public spaces, shouting “Boora Na Mano Holi Hai” (Do not mind! It’s Holi!). Colored powder packets are included in the ticket price.

There will also be a dance performance and workshop by Afsaana Dance, as well as moving to the beats of Bollywood, Bhangra, and EDM with DJ KP. Spice Walla restaurant will be at the event serving up delicious Kathi Rolls and Jaipur Avenue Chai drinks. Hindi Time Kids will be in attendance to lead children’s arts & crafts.
