Come see the new Aegis Living Ballard facility and stay for a presentation with Stina Cowen, Cultural Director of the Swedish Club, who will walk us through the rich cultural tapestry of Sweden right here in Seattle. On Thursday February 15th from 11am – 1pm, you can explore how Sweden’s history, culture, nature, and art are interwoven into our city. Stina will be sharing her experience as an immigrant from Sweden. Discover the fascinating intersections of Swedish heritage within the vibrant community of Seattle and gain insights into the cultural exchange that shapes both societies.

Lunch will be provided at this free event, and all attendees will get a complimentary Swedish proverb notebook.

Stina Cowen is the Cultural Director at the Swedish Club in Seattle. She is a skilled cultural project manager who feels passionately about the arts and education. Her job focuses on creating exciting and diverse cultural programming such as lectures, book talks, film screenings, and concerts. Stina was born in Sweden and earned her Bachelor of Education at Stockholm University.
