Laos Pop-up Dinner next Tuesday at Orcas Project

by | Oct 21, 2023

Next Tuesday, October 24th, The Orcas Project Tasting Room at 7009 Greenwood Ave N is hosting Chef Boby Pradachith who will be preparing a multi-course, take home dinner. Each dinner package is for two people and features a fresh, home cooked meal using ingredients found in Laos, with influences from Vietnam and Thailand. Even better – you get to take along a bottle of wine that The Orcas Project has chosen to pair with the eclectic ingredients of this Southeastern Asian country.

Owner Cole Sisson shares “The only thing that you have to do is to click on this button then pop by between 5-8pm to meet Boby in person and pick up your dinner. Why not sign up for multiple packages and invite your family and neighbors to try something new and exciting? We promise that it will be a delicious joy to support this incredible young man who’s family owns some of the most renowned Laotian restaurants in the United States (located in Washington DC).”

Menu:

  • Gaeng Som Zaap Muu: Spicy & sour tamarind with pork ribs, fall vegetables, herb and chicory salad, and jasmine rice
  • A salad of shiso, dill, cilantro, mustard greens, and radicchio will be composed separately to be added as the fresh garnishes for the curry
  • Steamed jasmine rice to be served on the side to help balance the strong flavors.
  • Massaman snickerdoodles
