Are you prepared for an emergency in the neighborhood? Come to the Phinney Hub drill this Saturday

by | Sep 5, 2023

The Phinney Hub is conducting an emergency drill this Saturday, September 9th from 1:15 to 3:30. It will be conducted in the PNA upper parking lot at 6532 Phinney Ave N.

The Phinney Hub is organized in case of a disaster such as an earthquake, flood, or major fire, people will come together to help each other. Following a disaster event, the Phinney Emergency Hub will set up in the upper parking lot. The mission of the Hub is to connect neighbors with neighbors. Some will need help or assistance. Many will be offering help. If someone is in need of tools or supplies, there’s likely someone on the Ridge who has the item.

The Phinney Hub connects these neighbors and facilitates Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Additionally, the Hub will be a location to obtain information. Come to the drill to this Saturday to witness the Hub in action.

To ensure the drill runs smoothly, it’s helpful for the Hub to know how many participants to expect. If you’re thinking of stopping by, please send a quick email to [email protected]. The drill will be on-going until 3:30. Come when you can. Stay as long as you like.
