by | Aug 4, 2023

Get ready to embrace your inner detective because today marks the opening day of the 2023 Gumshoe 5k held as always in our charming PhinneyWood neighborhood! Back for its 18th year, The Gumshoe invites you to tackle 30 mysterious clues while strolling along a delightful 5-kilometer route, all for a chance to win fantastic prizes and support the Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church Food Bank. For those of you who’ve already secured your entry forms online, you’ve got the next 17 days to complete the walk and drop off your completed forms in the red collection boxes conveniently stationed at El Chupacabra, our starting and ending spot.

If you haven’t snagged your entry form yet, no worries! Just hop on over to their website and register. Then, swing by Umpqua Bank (7120 Greenwood Ave N) or Greenwood Hardware during their regular business hours. Show your ID and purchase receipt email, and you’ll be all set with your entry form to embark on this thrilling journey.

Remember, the deadline to submit your completed forms into the red lock boxes at El Chupacabra is 6 pm on Sunday, August 20th, for a chance to win those fabulous prizes! So, grab your detective hats, and let’s make this year’s Gumshoe 5k an unforgettable adventure filled with mystery, fun, and community spirit!
