While America’s first female soldiers make history in World War I France in The Hello Girls, savor the expressions of French grapes artfully crafted by American winemakers in a special wine tasting event.

On July 27 at 6pm, enjoy several wines produced by The Orcas Project, an experimental winery based on Orcas Island that works with vineyards, grapes, and winemakers across the Pacific Northwest.

Then head into the theatre to be transported to a bygone era when the women of the Bell Battalion Telephonic Ladies’ Switchboard Unit #1 make history as America’s first female soldiers in The Hello Girls.

Buy your tickets to the tasting here.

Join Paola from the Orcas Project in a tasting paired wines from France and the PNW.  You will taste a Chenin Blanc from Oregon, a Chenin Blanc from France; as well as a Cabernet Franc from Washington, and a Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley.

The Event starts at 6pm in Taproot Theatre’s Isaac Studio Theatre. Tasting includes 4 wines. All participants must be age 21+.
