by | Jul 6, 2023

Neighborhood favorite Thaiku – winner of the inaugural Bite of PhinneyWood’s Best Bite award in 2022 – is now open for lunch from noon – 3pm on Saturday and Sundays.

As if exceptional Thai cuisine wasn’t enough, Sundays will include various jazz duos and trios which will including longtime owner Jon Alberts on piano. This Sunday July 7th, Jon will be joined by Hans Teuber on sax and Jonti Siman on bass.

Never been to Thaiku (6705 Greenwood Ave N)? Chef Unchalee “Oh” Ayucharoen describes it for you:

“From our beginnings as the Fremont Noodle House (1995-2001), our aim has been to share our love and passion for true authentic Thai cuisine and culture with our customers. Since Reincarnating as Thaiku, on Ballard Ave. (2001 – 2011) and now on Phinney Ridge, we have never strayed from that goal. Our family recipes originated in the villages and street stalls of Thailand have been passed down through generations and arrived on your table at Thaiku. We appreciate the opportunity to share our love for Thai culture and cuisine.”
