The Phinney Neighborhood Association will be holding the first annual PhinneyWood Lunar New Year Celebration on Sunday February 5th from 2-5pm. It will be an inclusive, free, and diverse event for North Seattle that honors the traditions of the Asian cultures that celebrate the Lunar New Year and supports local Asian-led businesses and organizations. Current PhinneyWood Lunar New Year plans include:
- Lantern-making for the whole family at the Phinney Center from 2 to 4 pm
- LQ Lion Dance performance at 3:30 pm
- Seattle Kokon Taiko performance at 4:30 pm
We hope you can join the community in coming together for this exciting and fun family event! The performances and activities will be indoors, so no need to be weather-wary.
