Seattle Black Panthers co-founder featured in local theater’s Black History Month podcast

by | Feb 9, 2022

Mirror Stage, a nonprofit theatre dedicated to promoting empathy and social justice which moved to Greenwood late last year, has announced their Black History Month podcast is now live and available.

This month’s podcast is a candid conversation with Seattle Black Panthers co-founder Aaron Dixon, who for the first time in a decade is publishing a new book. Dixon reveals the tragic events at the center of his new work and what inspired him to put pen to paper. He also reveals the four things he believes will help bring back the strength of the black community and his new list of must-read books.

The Mirror Stage Podcast explores the Pacific Northwest through the stories and experiences of its people and communities. You can find the podcast on Spotify or MirrorStage.org.  Join the Mirror Stage team as they continue to grow their mission of challenging assumptions, bias, and prejudice.
