New Phinney Ridge restaurant Autumn opens its doors tomorrow

by | Jul 5, 2021

Executive Chef and Restaurateur Brian Clevenger has announced his newest restaurant – Autumn – will officially open in the Phinney Flats building (6727 Greenwood Ave N) on Tuesday, July 6th.  Autumn will stay true to what Clevenger does best, offering a selection of handmade pastas, fresh local vegetables, and a variety of seafood dishes.

The name is a nod to the most sought after and bountiful harvest of the year. The space seats 39 and offers additional patio seating for up to 16. Similar to his Haymaker restaurants, Autumn will provide chefs a platform to provide menu items more focused on American fare.

“We’re so excited to be opening a space in Phinney Ridge. We’re big fans of the neighborhood and have had a goal to serve that community for a while now,” said Clevenger. “This restaurant will be similar to our others in terms of style and overall menu, and will also offer chef tasting menus.”

An extensive bar program features hand-crafted signature cocktails highlighting spirits from local distilleries and around the world, a selection of local and domestic beers, and a substantial wine list including a number of Italian, French, and Pacific Northwest winemakers.

In the kitchen will be Brian Clevenger alongside Chef Nick Chiaro, who previously spent time as a sous chef at Canlis, and a number of award-winning restaurants including Parallel 37 in San Francisco and Public restaurant in New York City. Menu highlights include Garganelli with English pea, ramps, morels, and mint; BBQ baby carrots with harissa, dill and hazelnut; and Ahi crudo with turmeric, capers, and rhubarb. In addition, Clevenger will expand the entrée selection to include items such as duck breast with sunchoke, apples and bee’s wax; lamb shoulder with olive, saffron, and flat bread; and prime New York steak with wild mushrooms, fava bean, and crouton.

Autumn will be open daily from 5-10pm, with a happy hour menu from 5-6pm. Delivery options will be offered through Doordash and Uber Eats.
