Breaking White Silence Northwest is sponsoring three study groups this Spring using Robin DiAngelo’s What Does It Mean to Be White? Developing White Racial Literacy. The primary purpose of Breaking White Silence is to educate white people on the structures and patterns of racism.
This study group is free and led by experienced facilitators. Although BWSNW encourages everyone to buy their own copy of DiAngelo’s work, they do have copies available to lend for the duration of the study group (this book is available locally at Phinney Books). Please sign up soon if interested, as there are only a few spots left in each group.
