Looking to make a difference in our community? Learn more about volunteering at The Village this Friday

by | Mar 23, 2021

The PNA Village Program‘s purpose is to create a strong and active intergenerational community that re-imagines aging by offering elders opportunities combined with support to fully engage in this next phase of life. This Friday from 10-11am, you are invited to sip your coffee (or tea) while you learn all about volunteering for the PNA Village program.  Also a great way for your teenager to gain necessary volunteer hours to graduate.

Elders contribute to the social capital that holds communities together. The Village provides a network of support including volunteer services, trusted business referrals, and social engagement. This framework empowers people to remain in the homes and neighborhoods they love while staying active and engaged as they age.

Current volunteers and staff will talk about how you can help your elder neighbors, during COVID and beyond.  Volunteering is flexible and easy. Please bring your questions!  RSVP to [email protected] to receive the Zoom link.
