Our neighborhood fine dining and big-hearted restaurant, Opus Co., has been shifting their business model to include more community outreach of late. Since April, they have been serving hot lunches every Tuesday, getting out over 3500 to those in our community that are in most need.
Mark, Paolo, Corynn, Sidney, Cecily and the whole Opus Co. crew is holding their second Socks & Sandos event, in anticipation of the upcoming cold weather this week. They will be packing up winter kits to people who are without shelter, including – you guessed it – socks and sandwiches.
This is made possible by donations to their community program site, which you can do in amounts from $1 – $20.
