PhinneyWood Round-Up – May 13th – Cocktail Edition: Oliver’s Twist, Teacher’s Lounge, Gainsbourg, and Thaiku PLUS a big neighborhood birthday

by | May 13, 2020

It’s hard for us all to keep up with everything going on these days. PhinneyWood is here to help you stay up to date on some of the latest happenings around the neighborhood.

When takeout cocktails were given the green light last week, Oliver’s Twist was ready to go almost instantly. Seattle Met was quick to notice and listed them as one of the “5 Places to Get Takeout Cocktails in Seattle This Weekend” last weekend. Place orders via their website today!

Starting today, Teacher’s Lounge will be open for takeout grilled cheese and cocktails from 4-8pm Wednesday through Saturday. Their menu of sandwich options can be found here and cocktails here. Place your orders by calling 206-706-2880.

Gainsbourg is now offering their full cocktail menu along with their already available food menu for takeout. They are open Tuesday-Saturday from 4-9 pm and can be reached at 206-783-4004.  Check out their Facebook page for specials, expanded hours and days, and all of the latest and greatest Gainsbourg has to offer.

In addition to curbside food pickup, Thaiku now offers a selection of their house infused cocktails to-go as well! Food and drink orders can be placed after 4:30pm by calling 206-706-7807. Thaiku is open 7 days a week from 5-8pm.

We also have a big birthday shout-out to Ken Giles of Ken’s Market fame who turned 90 this past Monday. Happy Birthday Ken!

Have some news that you need to share with the community, feel free to reach out so we can spread the word! There is an easy online submission form here.
