Phinney takes time to thank an essential worker

by | May 2, 2020

Over 30 households along Palatine Ave N from the north end of the 6200 block to 70th N St showed their appreciation on Friday to their essential mail carrier, Kevin Daniels. Neighbor Barbara Meyer instigated the “show” after seeing a story about a Berkley neighborhood that did the same for their carrier. The block was filled with signage, balloons, gifts, and thankful people as Kevin worked his usual magic.

On this annual Neighbor Day, it’s nice to see a community come together to ensure someone who works a hard job is appreciated for their efforts. Up next: this block is planning a show of appreciation to our essential garbage, recycle and clean green drivers!
