Two warm/waterproof clothing drives for our unhoused neighbors

by | Jan 19, 2020

Time to clear out your closets of the outdated yet useful 90’s Gore-Tex jackets, ugly wool socks you got for Christmas, and your Seattle Mariners stocking caps. With winter weather raging, it’s a perfect time for a warm and/or waterproof clothing drive for our unhoused neighbors.

The Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery is accepting lightly used or new rain gear, tents, fleeces, sweaters, sturdy shoes/boots, blankets, coats, socks and gloves.

The Phinney Association, in partnership with Discovery Church, is looking for the following, which can be dropped off in the container just inside the main door: New/pre-packaged socks, gloves, winter hats and (new or lightly used) coats.

All donations stay local!
