Are you a senior homeowner who is looking for ways to decrease your housing expenses? Come hear from representatives of several programs that can help you meet your physical and financial needs to stay in your home and community as you age.

Topics include Senior Property Tax Exemption, Affordable Home Repair, Virtual Villages, and Home Sharing. Light refreshments provided.

• City of Seattle Major Home Repair Program: You may be eligible for a loan for a major health and safety repair on your house, such as a roof or furnace. There is also a program to weatherize your home. Find out if you qualify.

• PNA Village & Home Sharing: PNA Village helps elders stay remain in their homes as they age. In addition to providing a wide array of services, PNA Village partners with Silver Nest: a home sharing website that connects homeowners with extra space in their homes with renters who want lower-cost housing options. Home sharing offers safety, companionship and sharing of household tasks.
