“Taming the Medicine Cabinet” seminar at Greenwood Senior Center this Thursday

by | Sep 10, 2019

The majority of Americans take at least one medication and 20 percent take five or more medications. Keeping track of your medications, especially when experiencing a temporary hospitalization, can be challenging, and more than a million people are harmed each year from medication errors.

This session explores some of the common causes of medication errors and challenges that most people face. We will also identify practical tips, including how to take back medicines that are expired or no longer needed. Be ready for an interactive, hands-on session, with must-know tips anyone can use. Presented by Robin Shapiro of Washington State Health Advocacy Association.

Thursday September 12, 1 – 2:30pm
Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N. 85th St.
Register at 206.297.0875.
