Third generation joins ownership at beloved Ken’s Market

by | Aug 20, 2019

Meet the next generation of owners! Mylon Mayer, Derek Giles and Daniel Schacher (pictured, L-R) are the newest members of the Ken’s Market ownership team. With a combined 30 years working at Ken’s between them, the trio joins current owners Steve and Scott Giles (Ken’s sons) as well as Bill Stamey (Ken’s son in-law). They plan on keeping Ken’s a strong and essential part of the community, while also bringing fresh changes to the store such as their newly remodeled produce section.

Derek, Dan, and Mylon also continue the tradition of family ownership: Derek is Ken’s Grandson and Dan and Mylon are two long-time co-workers at the Greenwood location. Ken’s is now officially a third generation family business.
