Holman Road and 13th Avenue NW signal project delayed until October

by | Aug 20, 2018

The new crosswalk and signal project at Holman Road NW and 13th Avenue NW has been delayed until sometime in October.

Work in Crown Hill Park to widen a pedestrian path will move forward and likely begin in earnest closer to Monday, August 27. Work on the new crosswalk and signal will be delayed until October. There have been delays in acquiring materials for the new signal and we don’t want to start construction on that site until we have all of the necessary equipment. Construction schedules are highly variable and we will update when we have a more definitive timeline.

The current pedestrian overpass will remain, with a new signalized crosswalk installed and traffic lights, making it safer for pedestrians to cross busy Holman Road to get to Crown Hill Community Center and Whitman Middle School.
