Homesharing presentation at Phinney Center June 23

by | Jun 13, 2018

The PNA Village program has partnered with Silvernest to bring Homesharing to Seattle. A presentation on Homesharing will be from 9:30-11 am. Saturday, June 23, at the Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the Brick Building in Community Hall.

Homesharing is…
When a home provider offers a room, ADU, or DADU to a home seeker in exchange for some form of financial exchange, assistance with household tasks, or simply companionship. Homesharing reduces housing expenses, creates affordable options for home seekers, increases security of both the home seeker and provider, and helps preserve the sense of community in the neighborhood.
Come hear about how to participate as a home owner or home seeker, and receive hands on assistance signing up. Attendees interested in signing up at the event are encouraged to bring a laptop/tablet. This event is open to everyone and the Silvernest program will be available city-wide.

Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP by email to [email protected] or call 206-789-1217.
