Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Human Services Department, and United Way of King County have partnered to host summer meals and recreation activities sites throughout the city.

Kids ages 1-18 can have free lunch and snacks, plus recreation activities that could include arts, crafts, board games, and organized recreational games. The drop-in program will run daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday from June 27 to Aug. 24, rain or shine at 19 parks.

In our neighborhood, the program will run at Greenwood Park, 602 N. 87th St. Not too far away, on the other side of I-5, the program will run at North Acres Park, 12718 1st Ave. N.
