Saturday is the 6th annual PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop, three hours of family-friendly activities at about 20 businesses and organizations throughout the neighborhood, as a kickoff to other Pride events in Seattle. It is sponsored by the Phinney Neighborhood Association Business Group.
The official Hop route is along Greenwood Avenue from North 70th to 87th streets. Activity maps will be available at any participating location (look for the rainbow wind sock and a sign outside).
The event kicks off with Drag Queen Story Time with Miss Sparkle Leigh at 10:30 a.m. at the Greenwood Library, 8016 Greenwood Ave. N. (and a second story time at 12 p.m.) Story Time is first come first serve and may fill up quickly. Free tickets for Story Times will be available at the Greenwood Library starting at 10 a.m. Sparkle Leigh will read stories and lead dances that are appropriate for ages 7 and under. Photo opportunities with Sparkle Leigh will be available after the story time.

Kiddie rock band The Not Its! will give a free closing concert at Naked City Brewing, 8564 Greenwood Ave. N., at 1 p.m.
Woodland Park Zoo will provide a free children’s pass to the zoo for any child who participates in up to six activities and gets stamps on their maps at activity sites.
