Caroling, holiday theater and concerts in Greenwood-Phinney Ridge this weekend

Couth Buzzard, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., is busy this weekend as usual, hosting Jim Page and Orville Johnson in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday; and Winter’s Return — A Celebration in Music with Pint & Dale & Tania Opland & Mike Freeman at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Taproot Theatre, 204 N. 85th St., continues its holiday productions of “A Civil War Christmas: An American Musical Celebration” on the Jewell Mainstage and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” in the Isaac Studio.

The Greenwood Senior Center presents an Early Stage Memory Loss Programs Benefit Concert from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at 525 N. 85th St.

Caroling Under Gary’s Canopy at 5 p.m. Saturday at Gary’s Greenwood Auto Repair, 7414 Greenwood Ave. N. It’s free but they’ll pass the hat for The Seattle Times Fund for the Needy.

Traffic-wise this weekend:

  • Pacific Northwest Ballet presents “The Nutcracker” at McCaw Hall through Dec. 28, so beware of traffic and parking around the Seattle Center.
  • Seahawks host the L.A. Rams at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink Field.
