The Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., is hosting its 30th anniversary Winter Beer Taste from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, with more than 35 local brews to choose from, plus pub style snacks.
Tickets are $10 for designated drivers, $25 for PNA members, or $35 for non-members. Special Preview Tasting tickets are $25, $50 and $60, and get you in at 6:15 p.m., plus a complimentary glass and special snacks (and $25 of that ticket price is tax deductible).
Beer drinkers get 10 tastes of winter ales and special brews and ciders. Designated drivers get all the soda and water they can drink. There’s also a silent auction of unique beer paraphernalia.
Breweries that made special collaboration beers just for this event include Georgetown, Reuben’s, Lucky Envelope, Rooftop, Flying Bike, Naked City and Populuxe.
Buy tickets online in advance, since it frequently sells out.
