Early Design Guidance meeting Monday for proposed 52-unit apartment building at corner of 87th and Palatine

by | Apr 26, 2017

Last month we told you about a 145-unit apartment building proposed for the currently empty lot on Palatine Avenue, south of North 87th Street.

Now, the house on the corner of Palatine and 87th will be demolished to make way for an adjacent six-story, 52-unit apartment building with ground floor commercial.

The project at 209 N. 87th St. will have its first Early Design Guidance meeting at 8 p.m. Monday, May 1, at the Ballard Community Center, 6020 28th Ave. NW, in the Sunset/Captain Ballard Room. (This will be just after the Design Review Recommendation meeting for the Shared Roof project at 70th and Greenwood, which is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.)

The proposal calls for studios, Small Efficiency Dwelling Units (smaller studios), 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units.

You can see the design proposal here.
