Viewlands Elementary needs $25,000 to finish funding playground improvement project

by | May 5, 2016

Viewlands Elementary’s Parent Teacher Student Association is just $25,000 away from fully funding its playground improvement project, scheduled to begin this summer. The project is funded by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, a King County Youth Sports Facilities Grant, and many community donations.

The PTSA’s Spring Legacy Campaign hopes to raise the final $25,000 by June 10 to fund the remaining components of the project, including the embankment slide with rubber surfacing and a log and boulder seating area.
