Former Greenwood resident Dave Fox returning from Vietnam to teach travel writing class at Phinney Center

Dave Fox, a travel writer who used to live in Greenwood but now lives in Vietnam, will be in town soon and will teach a travel writing workshop, “From Personal Travel Journals to Publishable Travel Tales,” from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the Brick Building.
Cost is $35, or $30 each if you bring a friend. You can sign up online. While in town he’s also offering one-hour one-on-one coaching sessions for $50.
Fox spent 16 years leading European tours for Rick Steves. He has published two books: “Globejotting: How to Write Extraordinary Travel Journals” and “Getting Lost: Mishaps of an Accidental Nomad.”
