Disaster preparedness workshop at Broadview Library April 12

by | Feb 2, 2016

Seattle Office of Emergency Management is offering a series of disaster preparedness training classes and workshops in the next few months, including one at the Broadview Library, 12755 Greenwood Ave. N., from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12.

This one-hour course provides an overview of the hazards that can impact Seattle, and steps that individuals and families can take to become more prepared to deal with them. This includes guidance on how to develop a disaster plan, build a disaster supply kit, and organize with your neighbors to become better prepared.
Disaster Preparedness: The Basics sessions do not require any registration but are offered on a first-come first-served basis. Please come early to ensure a spot as we must comply with fire code restrictions on the capacity of the room.
For more information contact the Office of Emergency Management, [email protected] or 206-233-5076.
