Former Oroweat site at 70th & Greenwood to become mixed-use development

The empty site at 7009 Greenwood Ave. N. that used to house the Oroweat Bakery Outlet has finally been sold after several years of environmental cleanup.

Evolution Projects in Fremont plans to construct a 38,000 square foot mixed-use building with 25 units and 20 parking spaces.

You can see photos of what the site currently looks like behind the fence at the website for Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections (formerly called Department of Planning & Development).

Design Review is required, so the public will have a chance to weigh in at Early Design Guidance meetings, yet to be scheduled.
