Naked City Brewery & Taphouse hosts annual 826 Luminosity benefit next Tuesday

by | Aug 21, 2014

Every Aug. 26, Naked City Brewery & Taphouse, 8564 Greenwood Ave. N., hosts a benefit for 826 Seattle, Greenwood’s nonprofit tutoring and writing center just down the street at 8414 Greenwood Ave. N. Next Tuesday’s event begins at 8 p.m. with a special Naked Sessions acoustic concert by Eric Anderson from Cataldo. Tickets are $10 through Brown Paper Tickets.

All proceeds from concert tickets, plus the whole day’s proceeds from every pint sold of 826 Luminosity (a special ale from Head Brewer Don Web) will go directly to benefit 826 Seattle’s programs.

826 Seattle is a nonprofit writing and tutoring center dedicated to helping youth, ages six to 18, improve their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around our belief that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.
