Performance art, theater, live music, garage sale, farmers market in the neighborhood this weekend

Here are some highlights of events in Phinney Ridge and Greenwood this weekend. Check our Events calendar for more.
The Phinney Farmers Market is from 3-7 p.m. Friday in the upper parking lot of the Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
Tim’s Tavern, 602 N. 105th St., presents The Wild Snohomians (Country/Americana), Knut Bell (solo set) and Johnny Hoffman and the Residents Friday night; and hard rock by Shark The Herald, Animal People, Dolphin Hunt and Alina Alisha Nicole on Saturday night.
Taproot Theatre, 204 N. 85th St., continues its run of “Jane Eyre the musical” on the mainstage, and “The Amish Project” in the Isaac Studio.
The soon-to-come Portal Studio, a movement and performance space at 8408 Greenwood Ave. N., is hosting an installation/dance performance by The Royal Society called “Southland.”Last weekend’s performances sold out, so they’ve added a second set of shows Friday and Saturday night. Doors open at 7:45 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door.
The second of five Saturday morning two-hour walking tours of PhinneyWood to help raise matching funds for the North 63rd Street Underpass Mural Project is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. Meet under the bright yellow air raid tower at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Other tour dates are Aug. 2 and 16, and Sept. 6. Suggested donation is $10, but any amount will be accepted.
Evan’s Family Variety Show from 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday at the PNA, 6532 Phinney Ave. Juggler Nickolai Pirak, magician Ruben Barron, and the Chaotic Noise Marching Corps. $5 for children, $10 for adults, in advance or at the door.
Northwest Market Street will be closed again from Greenwood Avenue North to Third Avenue Northwest from 7 a.m. Saturday until 7 p.m. Sunday so Seattle Department of Transportation crews can do some paving work. Eastbound traffic on Northwest Market Street will be detoured to North 39th Street. Westbound traffic will be detoured to North 39th or to North 65th Street (via North 50th Street and Phinney Avenue North). Trucks will be detoured to North 85th Street.
Next door to Phinneywood, the Crown Hill Neighborhood Garage Sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Dozens of houses participate in this annual event.
