Phinney Farmers Market opens for the season next Friday, June 7

The annual Phinney Farmers Market at the Phinney Neighborhood Association opens for the season next Friday, June 7. The Market will be open from 3-7 p.m. every Friday through Oct. 4, at 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the upper parking lot.
Customers can purchase veggies, fruits, meat, eggs, cheese, flowers, bread and other baked goods, and prepared foods. The Market accepts SNAP, WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition coupons.
New vendors this year include Golden Glen Creamery; Grateful Bread; Hedlin Farms (heirloom tomatoes and veggies from Skagit Valley); Jarvis Growers (a dozen varieties of dried garlic, from Olympic Peninsula); Keep it Real Foods (treats low in carbs, and high in nutrients and protein); Sanford’s Farm (plant starts, eggs, chicken); Tabby Cat Pickling (organic pickled cucumbers, dilly beans, dilled carrots, sunchoke skordalia, and “Tabby Tartar”); Tandoozy (Indian street food); Taste of Istanbul (falafel, shawarma, shish kebab’s, and kofta plates); Twin Oaks Creamery; Wilridge Winery (estate-grown Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Melange, Syrah, Nebbiolo, dessert wines); Yongquist Farm (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries).
