Turabi Rug Gallery looking to sub-lease part – or all – of its space

by | Oct 3, 2011

Turabi Rug Gallery, 7220 Greenwood Ave. N., plans to move out of Phinney Ridge if its landlord can find a new business to lease the space.

Orhun Uygur told me on Sunday that the Phinney Ridge store just isn’t doing enough business these days. Turabi has a second location in Pioneer Square.
Uygur said that if the landlord can find someone to sub-lease half of the space, then the rug store will be located in just the north half of the store. But if the landlord can find someone to take over the whole space, the landlord will let Turabi out of their current lease.
Turabi Rug Gallery has been in business since 1979.
