Tonight is the monthly Art Up Art Walk in Greenwood-Phinney. Nearly three dozen businesses from roughly North 62nd to North 87th streets along Greenwood Avenue will feature art from various mediums. The art walk officially runs from 6-9 p.m., but many businesses stay open later. See the full list of participants here.

The Crown Hill ‘Hood Hunt is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Crown Hill Center, 9250 14th Ave. NW. “‘Hood Hunt is like a scavenger hunt. We give you a map with 20-25 checkpoints marked and questions to answer at each checkpoint. Get as many as you can in 75 minutes. Fun finding the nooks and oddities in a neighborhood.”
“Single in 50’s Social Gathering — Books, Wine, Chocolate and Music” is from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Cafe, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N. “Meet other singles in their 50’s in the informal, low-key atmosphere of a great neighborhood bookstore and cafe. Includes an informal showcasing and sharing of several excellent books, wine and chocolate tasting, music, door prizes and more. Free entry. Wine tasting – $7, chocolate tasting $5. KidsAcoustic with Hideki Yamaya at Empty Sea Studios, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, 6300 Phinney Ave. N. An up-close musical experience for kids and parents, and the opportunity to try the instruments afterward. Teacher and early string performer Shulamit Kleinerman joins forces with Hideki Yamaya, “playing plucked and strummed instruments from lute and five-foot-long theorbo to renaissance and modern guitars to the 18th-century mandolino, the rarely-seen ancestor of to day’s mandolin.” Tickets are $14 in advance, $16 at the door.
Shapenote Singing, 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday, at Woodland Park United Methodist Church, 302 N. 78th St. “No admission charge, no choir director, no rehearsal, no performance – just 4-part a cappella singing in the old American hymn tradition.”
