Car flips in single car accident at 65th & Greenwood

by | Mar 4, 2011

Update 7:05 p.m.: A single car overturned on North 65th Street between Greenwood Avenue North and Palatine Avenue North about 6:48 p.m. tonight. Witnesses tell us it may have been a medical issue, but that the man was conscious while medics tended to him.

“I just saw him go from the lane coming up (the hill), all the way over,” said Marsha, a witness.
The car was upside down in a yard on the north side of North 65th Street, and 65th was closed between Greenwood and Palatine avenues for a while. The street has now reopened.

Here’s another angle, with the paramedics and the injured man on a gurney being taken to the ambulance.

Earlier: There’s a massive Seattle Fire Department response to a “heavy rescue” at Greenwood Avenue North and North 65th Street. Seattle Fire Real Time 911 shows two aid units, two medic units, two fire engines, two ladder trucks and several other units on the scene.
