Earthquake retrofit class tonight at Phinney Center

 Tonight’s Phinney Neighborhood Association class on earthquake retrofitting your home should be a popular one.

Roger Faris, Tom Hall & Tony Holder are offering their popular Earthquake Home Retrofit class tonight from 7-9 pm in the Community Hall at the Phinney Neighborhood Center. Learn about the City of Seattle’s Project Impact and how to evaluate your home for needed structural improvements. Learn to use the correct tools, materials and methods to accomplish an earthquake retrofit. Class handouts include a complete set of permit forms, drawings and instructions suitable for do-it-yourselfers or working with a contractor. Class size is limited, so be sure and call 783-2244 to register in advance. Price is $20 for PNA members, and $25 for the general public.
