Paul Winters, the owner of Phinney/Ballard’s popular The Reading Gaol pub on NW 65th St., died of cancer last Sunday.
Family and friends are invited to a wake celebrating his life from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Reading Gaol, 418 NW 65th St.
Winters previously owned La Boehme, which later became Sully’s Snowgoose Saloon up on Phinney Avenue. He opened The Reading Gaol, in 1997. It is named for “The Ballad of Reading Gaol” by Oscar Wilde.
