It’s shaping up to be a beautiful fall day for getting out and about. Here’s what’s happening in the neighborhood and beyond this weekend.
It’s the last Phinney Farmers Market of the season at the Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Come by from 3-7 p.m. Friday for fresh produce, cider, jams, chocolates, bread, flowers, or dinner from Veraci Pizza, Pan Africa and Patty Pan Grill.
Help paint a street mural on Stone Avenue North between North 80th Street and Green Lake Drive North near Bagley Elementary School from 3-7 p.m. Friday.
Neptune Coffee at 8415 Greenwood Ave. N. has 30 Rock Trivia with host Luke Burbank of TBTL (Too Beautiful to Live) at 8 p.m. Friday.
Live jazz by Jazz Committee at 8 p.m. Friday at Wayward Coffeehouse, 8570 Greenwood Ave. N.
The new season of Ridge Romp at the Phinney Center (6532 Phinney Ave. N., brick building) begins on Saturday with Juggletunes. Doors open at 10 a.m.; show starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. $3 person (adult or child; babes in arms are free).
Celebrate and tour the remodeled Hamilton Middle School from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
Spokespeople is organizing a bike ride from Wallingford to the new Lake Union Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Burke-Gilman Trail may be a little more crowded on Saturday as 200 students from John Stanford International Elementary School will be biking, scooting and rollerskating on one section of the trail for their annual Move-A-Thon fundraiser.
Green Lake Elementary School at 2400 N. 65th St. is hosting a party to celebrate the grand opening its Olallie Native Garden from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
Threshold Ensemble performs at 7 p.m. Saturday at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Cafe, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N.
Del Rey plays guitar and ukulele at Empty Sea Studios, 6300 Phinney Ave. N., at 8 p.m. Saturday.
