Animal Planet filming Cooper the Cat at Urban Light Studios this Sunday

by | May 6, 2010

Remember when Cooper the Cat took the world by storm just over a year ago? He had a tiny camera clipped to his collar that automatically took pictures every few minutes, and some of them were astoundingly good. He had his own blog, his own gallery show in Greenwood, and media attention from all over the world.

Cooper the Cat snapped this picture of his owner just out of the shower.
Well, Cooper is back with a one-day only gallery exhibition at Urban Light Studios as part of a video shoot for Animal Planet this Sunday. A video crew will be documenting the event from 5-8 p.m. for the upcoming TV show, “Must Love Cats.”

Following a 2009 gallery debut at Urban Light Studios which drew international acclaim, Cooper’s photography has just returned from a 6-month exhibition in Chicago at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. So we’re considering this a “Welcome Home Cooper” reception. Never-seen-before photos will be on display and available for purchase, along with all-time Cooper favorites from the last two years.

Urban Light Studios is inside the Greenwood Collective, at 8537 Greenwood Ave. N. Suite 1.
