What are your favorite neighborhood walks?

by | Apr 7, 2010

The City of Seattle is producing a map of favorite neighborhood walks, and is currently soliciting input from people in Ballard, Greenwood, Phinney, Crown Hill, Loyal Heights, Wallingford, Fremont, and all of the neighborhoods west of I-5, south of 145th and north of the Ship Canal.
The official name of the project is Recreational Walking Map – North Seattle.  The Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce is helping out by collecting walking routes for our neighborhood.

Walks with destinations, walks for shopping, rambling walks, walks for people and dogs, everything. Please submit an outline of your favorite (Greenwood-Phinney) path or several, along with the highlights and dangers, to [email protected]. We will collect them, make sure to include as many as we can. Our deadline for submissions is May 10th. That will give us time to look at the overlap and get the information to the City.
In the meantime, enjoy our city and keep walking!!!
