by | Jan 28, 2010

Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is looking for nominations for its Champion of the Year award. PAWS, which runs Cat City Adoption Center in Greenwood, says nominated individuals should show “inspirational compassion, leadership and initiative in helping animals.” The nomination deadline is Feb. 19.

Nominations may come from any community member touched by the person’s project or activities. Nominees must live in the Greater Puget Sound area, and there is no age restriction. The recipient will be formally presented with the award at PAWS Wild Night gala on March 27, 2010 and also recognized in PAWS magazine.
