Carkeek Park pedestrian bridge closing for painting

Carkeek Park’s pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks to the beach is closing on Wednesday through Feb. 10 for painting. SeattleĀ Parks and Recreation and the Seattle Department of Transportation are working together to clean and paint the bridge, which isĀ overĀ the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks on the west side of Carkeek Park,Ā just north of Greenwood.
