by | Dec 17, 2009

For the holidays, PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society ) is lowering its adoption fee for cats and dogs more than six months old. Their “Home for the Holidays” campaign lowers the adoption fees by 20 percent, and lasts through Jan. 5.

For this limited time, the adoption fee for a dog is $80 and for a cat it is $72. With each adoption, the pet is spayed or neutered, is microchipped, and receives the first round of vaccinations. A free initial visit to a local veterinarian is also included. To see photos of animals and learn how to adopt visit paws.org, visit PAWS in person at 15305 44th Ave. W. in Lynnwood or PAWS Cat City at 8503 Greenwood Ave. N., Seattle, or call 425-787-2500.

Here are two of the many pets looking for homes. This is Olivia.

And here’s Lola.
