Help clean up ‘hood at Clean and Green event

by | Oct 4, 2009

Join your neighbors and city officials on Saturday, Oct. 17 for the fall Clean and Green event. Volunteers with GAIN North (Greenwood Aurora Involved Neighbors) focus on keeping the neighborhood safe and clean from Greenwood Avenue to Aurora and North 95th St. to N. 105th St. Now, they’ll be getting a lot of help from the city – and you.
Clean and Green happens from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., starting at the parking lot of the Music Center of the Northwest, 901 N. 96th St. Help pick up litter, paint out graffiti and spruce up green spaces.
Tools and gloves will be provided; so will refreshments.
For more information, contact Beth Pflug at the Greenwood Neighborhood Service Center at 206-684-4096, or Rene Murry from GAIN North.
