Seattle Magazine ranks Phinney Ridge fourth in its listing of the top 110 neighborhoods of Seattle and the suburbs in its August issue. Estimating Phinney’s population at 8,241 and the median home price at $544,500, with a crime rate of 46 crimes per 1,000 residents, here’s what they had to say: “A tight neighborhood with gorgeous homes on the hills near the zoo, with a strong community center and shopping district.”
Greenwood scored number 31 on the list, with a median home price of $320,000, 48 crimes per 1,000 residents, and a population of 11,083. “A charming, eclectic shopping area with antiques and gift shops anchors this laid-back northwest neighborhood. Locals wait all year for the huge neighborhood garage sale.”
