Community Garden work party at Baha’i Center

by | Aug 24, 2009

The Baha’i Center at North 79th Street and Fremont Avenue is installing a community garden, and they need some help getting it all ready. Bring your shovels, garden spades, weed wackers, etc. from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. this Saturday to help cut the grass, lay out cardboard and spread compost and manure to begin the process of sheet mulching (sod removal).

If you have a truck, please email or message Ashley. There are wood chips available near by that we can pick up if we have a truck (which we need). Thanks!! Please RSVP to Ashley (206) 375-9855 / [email protected].
