Local writer Jen Betterley is working on a magazine article about tutoring, and is hoping to connect with parents and middle or high school teachers in the neighborhood to find out their recommendations on tutoring.
I am mainly wondering about how parents in the neighborhood are finding private tutors – where to look and how much the cost usually is. I am hoping to interview a couple of local teachers from middle schools or high schools about tutoring, and any recommendations they may have for parents – what works, where to go, what the warning signs are that they may
need a tutor. I am also hoping to find a couple parents to speak with about their thoughts on tutoring.
