Ben emailed us, asking for a little horticultural help:
I am far from being a botanist, and am a little bit curious about the trees growing in the ‘hood that are now covered in small, pink flowers. The most recent ones that I’ve seen are on 71st at the top of hill on the East side of the crosswalk…Any chance you could ask if anybody knows what kind of tree they are?
