Greenwood Car Show looking for volunteers

by | Mar 7, 2009

The always popular annual Greenwood Car Show is looking for volunteers and sponsors for the June 27 event. Shane Toupal, owner of Bleachers Pub in Greenwood, says he and about half a dozen other car enthusiasts are meeting twice a month to plan the event, which closes down a long portion of Greenwood Avenue and brings in hundreds of classic cars.
They need volunteers to stuff goody bags, sell T-shirts, direct parking, help with crowd control at intersections with traffic, and to walk the show picking up trash and generally being helpful.
If you’re interested in volunteering or sponsoring the Greenwood Car Show, email Shane. And if you want to come to the meetings, they’re every first and third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Neptune Coffee at 8415 Greenwood Ave. N.
